Hello Everyone! I would like for you to meet the newest addition to our family. Her name is Gracie and she, is a beautiful black lab. She is a rescue and came from an abusive home. How anyone could do such a thing is way beyond my comprehension. Anyway she is one of the sweetest and loving animals that I have cared for yet. I hope that one day this abuse of animals will stop. With tougher laws and abusive owners being charged for their crime and yes it is a crime!It just makes no sinse to me. I use to think that someone that would do such a thing to a loving animal, they must have been abused themselves. I know now that this is not true. I came from an abusive home and I could never even think of doing such a thing. Cowards, to pick on a defensive animal is an act of cowardness. What else could it be? Bullies, the same thing! Let me see you pick on someone your own size. To all the cowards and abusive dog owners, you have an open invitation to pick on me instead!! Well that's enough said on this subject for right now, because I am really getting angry again and I don't want to do that. As this beautiful animal sleeps at my feet right now, I will close. People please take good care of your animals. They have so much love to give you and they ask for nothing in return. Take care, Cathy

This little pie is so cute, I just had to share. Enjoy the memories while you can. I am not sure what some people are thinking when they abuse any animal. Apparently they are very sad people and it's scary to think that people like this exist. This is why it is so important for those who do understand to reach out and help them. I am not just talking about the animals now, but many people have not yet discovered the greatest love of all. First you must love yourself, to be able to love anyone else.
